ParkPilot is designed to work with the accessibility features built into iOS. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue improving the app over time.
VoiceOver
We aim to provide descriptive accessibility labels for interactive controls. Wait time status, attraction
recommendations, and primary action buttons are designed to be announced clearly for VoiceOver users. Cards in a
pending-dismissal state are labeled to reduce confusion.
Dynamic Type
ParkPilot is designed to support iOS text size settings, including larger accessibility sizes, so content remains
readable across supported screens.
Reduce Motion
Animated interface effects are designed to respect the Reduce Motion setting in iOS Accessibility preferences. When
Reduce Motion is enabled, motion-heavy effects are reduced or replaced where practical.
Contrast All informational text meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA contrast ratios across both Light and Dark modes (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). Colored indicators are always paired with text labels so status is never conveyed by color alone.
Appearance A Light, Dark, or System-matching appearance can be selected in Settings → Appearance. The preference persists across sessions.
Touch Targets All interactive elements meet a minimum tap target size of 48 × 48 dp in accordance with WCAG 2.5.5 (Target Size).
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have suggestions for improvement, please email us at support@getparkpilot.com. We typically respond within 1–2 business days.
