Who We Are

ParkPilot is a theme-park day companion app that uses an AI recommendation engine to suggest your next ride or attraction based on real-time wait times, your location, party type, and preferences.

ParkPilot is an independent app and is not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company or any park operator.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Park and visit preferences — the park you are visiting, party type, mobility needs, pace preference, and attractions on your must-do list.
Planned departure time — used to pace recommendations throughout your park day.

Information Collected Automatically

Approximate location — your device location is sent with recommendation requests so we can score attractions by walking distance. We do not store your location history. Location is used only for operational purposes during your session — to calculate walk times to attractions and to detect whether you have moved to a different park — and is then discarded. We do not store your location history.
Device identifier — a random UUID generated on your device and stored in your iOS Keychain. This identifier helps restore ParkPilot Pro access on a new device. It is not linked to your Apple ID, name, or email address.
Appearance preference (Light / Dark / System) — stored on-device only via iOS standard preferences; never transmitted
Local counters (app usage, review prompts) stored on-device only, never transmitted

Information Received from Apple

App Store purchase information — when you subscribe to ParkPilot Pro, StoreKit purchase data is sent to our servers so we can verify your subscription with Apple.
Subscription records — we store subscription status, expiration information, and a stable Apple transaction identifier so we can recognize valid subscription access across devices.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to operate, secure, and improve ParkPilot.

We do not:

Sell your personal information
Rent or trade your personal information
Use your information for advertising
Track you across other companies’ apps or websites

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Your data may be shared only with:

Our backend infrastructure — to generate recommendations and verify purchases
Apple — to validate App Store subscriptions as required by Apple’s in-app purchase system
Service providers acting on our behalf — only to the extent necessary to securely host and operate ParkPilot

All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or social media integrations.

Data Retention

Session data (preferences, must-do attractions, completed attractions, and related recommendation data) expires automatically after 24 hours.
Subscription records are retained while needed to validate or restore an active subscription, or until deletion is requested where applicable.
Location coordinates are not stored after recommendation processing is complete.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of data associated with your device identifier by contacting us at the email address below.

Because we do not collect your name or email address within the app, we may ask you to provide your device identifier so we can locate your records. The device identifier can be found in the Settings section of the app.

Please note that deleting subscription-related records may affect our ability to help restore ParkPilot Pro access on a future device.

Children’s Privacy

ParkPilot is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app evolves.

When changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of ParkPilot after updated policies are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
